TUNNEL THROUGH RURAL WORCESTERSHIRE
The Worcester and Birmingham canal takes you from the vibrant centre of Birmingham, through the green hills of Worcestershire, to the cathedral city of Worcester. Day boaters can cruise through the remains of the Forest of Arden, and stop at a choice of pubs along the way, including The Crown at Alvechurch, and also the old Cadbury factory, now Cadbury World. The route is lock-free but there are two tunnels to pass through, including Wast Hill Tunnel.
