Pick Me Up!

natalie spent her winnings on a fab car and some new clothes

Slipping on my jeans, I noticed they were baggy on my bum. ‘I could do with going shopping,’ I laughed to my partner Terry, 35.

After having my daughter, now 5, I’d put on weight. But I’d since lost 5st.

I was too busy to go shopping, though.

When I did have spare time, I loved Pick Me Up! Bingo.

I’d joined in August 2013, and liked the slots best.

In May, I was playing the Wonderland slot game. I span once and won a few quid. On my second spin, I got to the bonus round.

Three doors appeared. As I clicked on one, it opened. It was the Croquet Bonus game, where I could win cash prizes.

I could play as Alice or the Queen of Hearts. I played as Alice and had to beat the Queen.

Next, I got through to the bonus game, where you can win the jackpot.

This time, I had to knock rolled-up hedgehogs through all the hoops. Once I’d done that, a message flashed up and Alice appeared with a box. When the word Winner came up, I thought I’d won £10... There was a message about the progressive jackpot but, thinking it just explained the total, I ignored it.

I started another game and saw my balance had increased.

And not by £10, but by £28,946 – the progressive jackpot! Wow!

It was such a big win that Terry and I bought a 4x4 car.

I also got my little girl some new toys and bought myself some smaller clothes!

We had money left, so had a day out at a theme park. My daughter had a really fun time.

I still can’t believe that I won such a huge amount.

Being able to splash out and treat my family has been really wonderful. So, Pick Me Up! Bingo didn’t just make my day – it made my whole year!

I’d won small amounts, but I just played for fun
