A Very English Scandal

BBC1 This three-part drama tells the shocking true story of former Liberal Party leader Jeremy Thorpe (Hugh Grant) who was accused of conspiring to murder his much younger ex-lover Norman Scott (Ben Whishaw) in 1975. The infamous case ended with a sensational trial in 1979 which exposed establishment secrets. Others in the cast include Jason Watkins, Eve Myles, Patricia Hodge and Blake Harrison.
