Tell hubby to clean himself up?

Pick Me Up! - - YOUR DILEMMAS... -

Sue, 53, Essex

It’s fair to say that my husband of 13 years has let himself go. I was first attracted to him when we met 20 years ago because he was slender and always kept himself looking fresh and clean-shaven. Now, after having three kids and over a decade later, he’s not in good shape. I regularly run and eat well, but he doesn’t do either – he’s a slob and is overweight.

I still love him very much, but it’s starting to get me down that he doesn’t make an effort any longer. It actually makes me resent going out anywhere with him!

Shall I tell him to start looking after himself more? I don’t want to insult him…
