We get naked anywhere!

Whipping my knickers off, I scanned the area . ‘I think we’re all clear,’ my boyfriend, Kieran, 27, laughed.
As he stood in nothing but his boxers, Kieran wasn’t holding onto much dignity either.
On a deserted road on the Isle of Arran, my boyfriend and I were getting ready for yet another photo shoot.
But far from donning our finery, we were wearing nothing but our birthday suits.
‘You ready?’ the photographer laughed.
‘As we’ll ever be,’ Kieran chuckled, as we both made one last check for oncoming traffic.
Posing up a storm completely naked in the middle of the road, the pair of us didn’t have a care in the world.
Apart from being a little bit cold that is!
For Kieran and I, posing naked was all just a bit of harmless fun.
We’d been doing it for a few years, after meeting in 2018.
With Kieran from Scotland and me from Belgium, we met while working together as
dancers in Spain, and we were both immediately smitten.
Sat with all the other dancers at our first group dinner, I could feel Kieran’s eyes on me.
Luckily, I felt the same instant attraction to him.
And from that moment on, we were inseparable.
Living together and working together, we both knew we’d met the one.
So, when our dancing contract was up, we decided to travel the world.
But first, we headed back to Kieran’s home town in Scotland before we set off on the road.
And there, our naked photo shoots were born!
‘The coast is clear,’ Kieran said, as we hiked a local trail near his family home in South Ayrshire one afternoon.
With that, my clothes were off and Kieran was snapping away with the camera.
I know it might sound crazy to some, but for us, getting naked was something we both really enjoyed doing. We’re certainly not nudists, but after sharing a few photos on our personal Instagram pages, the reaction was incredible.
‘You look great,’ one friend commented.
‘I love this!’ another posted on our feed.
Usually, we either set up the camera on self-timer mode, or our family would take the pictures.
It might sound a little unconventional, but we’re both from really open homes when it comes to nudity so it has never been an issue.
And as we started planning our travels abroad, we got ready to take our naked selfies international. ‘Where shall we go first?’ I asked, as we started planning our trip. Having travelled quite a bit before, I was ready to show Kieran the ropes. And as we set off on our first stop to India, in May 2019, we couldn’t wait to take some more risque photos. Never wanting to disrespect any local customs or religions, we were always super careful when it came to our photo shoots. Only in the most remote locations would we bare all.
But as our travels went on and we visited Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, we started getting a little bit more adventurous. Hiking on a tiny island in Vietnam, the view was absolutely incredible. ‘This would make a great photo,’ I laughed to Kieran. ‘I don’t think anyone’s coming,’ he smiled.
Only, as I got myself ready and started taking off my clothes, a man suddenly appeared in the distance.
‘Oh my God,’ I cried , trying my best to cover my modesty.
‘Don’t worry about it,’ the man laughed, before walking on. Luckily, it takes a lot to embarrass me and I wasn’t too bothered, but Kieran certainly found it amusing! As our travels went on, we found more incredible spots to pose for our risque shots.
From waterfalls to hiking trails, our naked photo shoots were becoming more regular.
And we were having the time of our lives. Spending as little as possible, we were great with our money – even hitch hiking our way through countries.
But after nearly a year on the road, Covid-19 halted our travels and we headed back to Scotland until it was safe for us to travel again.
From there, we set up an Instagram account to showcase our travels and some of our naked shots.
Dubbing them our ‘Freaky Friday’ posts, they started getting lots of attention.
Before we knew it, we had over 28,000 followers.
For us, we were just happy to spread a bit of body positivity.
There are so many filtered and edited photos on Instagram, it’s nice to see something a bit more natural.
And with demand for the shots growing, we’re still posing for our ‘Freaky Friday’ posts as often as we can.
With the weather in Scotland a little fresher than Asia, it’s not been easy!
But whether it’s sunshine or snow, we don’t let anything get in the way of our photoshoots.
Next, Kieran and I have a ten year plan that will see us buying a van in Brazil, making our way very slowly down south and then back up north to as far as Alaska.
We’re proving that you don’t have to spend a fortune to go on an adventure of a lifetime.
But for now, we’re staying put in Scotland.
