Feeling tired

-

QI always feel tired even if I’ve had a good night’s sleep. I can’t understand why I’m like this. What could it be? Allison, A Liverpool Tiredness that is so severe that it’s not relieved by getting a good

night’s sleep, is called fatigue.

Although it may be nothing serious, I would strongly advise you to see your GP.

There are many possible causes of fatigue including anaemia, diabetes, coeliac disease and underactive thyroid.

You could also be suffering from sleep apnoea, a condition that results in loud snoring during the night and interruption of your normal breathing pattern as you sleep.

Anxiety and depression could also be making you feel tired all the time and disturbing your sleep.

I would suggest speaking to your GP for more advice.
