By downloadin­g the RHS Grow App, you can easily identify the plants in your garden by taking a photo of them in the app – the RHS database will quickly find you a matching profile of the plant, as well as a tailored guide on how to easily care for it.

You can even log all your current plants into the app’s tracking system and access care tips for them.

Plus, follow the easy in-app guides to find out how to prune, train and propagate them, too.

2. Moon and Garden

When it comes to sowing your seeds, your yearly calendar suddenly becomes a lifeline for your plants.

But luckily, the Moon and Garden app makes timing your plant care so much easier.

Load up the app to access a new type of calendar – one that tracks the phases of the moon.

Offering advice according to the lunar cycle, the calendar shows you the best days to sow, prune and harvest your plants.
