Can’t see the words for the trees

Pilot - - TECH LOG -

There we go again, page 29 of the December 2016 issue, text hidden under the vegetation. Thought we had that sorted; even tried my ‘big light’ to no avail! Nice text wrap around the wing and prop though. Bryce Irons

I very much look forward to the magazine arriving on my doormat and particularly enjoy the aerobatic reviews by Nick Bloom, as I fly a Pitts myself, which Nick has in fact reviewed twice.

Unfortunately this month’s review of the American Champion Xtreme was spoilt by the way the page covering the aerobatics was made unreadable in parts because it was printed over a picture of fields and hedges. Please try not to do to do this. Other than that keep up the good work. Dave Cockburn

Unfortunately a technical issue with our Content Management System caused us to take our eye off the ball — where we run words over images we do try to make them stand out by using bold text (which did appear) over a tone panel (which went missing on this occasion). Our apologies for the resulting problem with legibility — Ed.

How that page spread in the Xtreme Decathlon flight test should have looked!
