New ‘paperless’ bizjet from Dassault

Pilot - - PILOT NOTES -

Dassault is working on a ‘clean-sheet’ business jet design, company Chief Executive Officer Eric Trappier announced at October’s National Business Aviation Association Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas. Well, clean sheet is not quite the right expression, he explained, as design work will be largely paperless thanks to a new software system called 3D Experience that will take the aircraft from concept to delivery. “We will be a truly digital enterprise,” Trappier said. “The software will allow simulations at every stage of development allowing all involved to thoroughly test products and systems before they are actually produced.”
