More rotary, please!

Pilot - - AIRMAIL -

I enjoy reading your magazine as it has some great articles. However, I have noticed that, for the UK’S leading general aviation magazine, there is a distinct lack of rotary aviation news. I understand that helicopters are less common than fixed wing aircraft but two pages of rotary news and periodic reviews to me does not show the variety there is in GA. Surely a well established magazine can see the lack in content?

If there were more rotary, I believe there would be more interest and I, for one, would purchase the magazine more than I currently do. I’ve been studying for a while the course for PPL(H) and I’m interested in reading more from those who have experience in this area. Articles and advice about rotary would benefit not just me but others. When the reviews and articles do appear I find them very useful. In my opinion Pilot magazine has a narrow view on general aviation. Dan Hornby, Colwyn Bay We do our best to ensure the spread of Pilot’s content matches the ratio of PPL(A)S to PPL(H)S. Not everybody has an interest in rotary-wing, but we’d be happy to publish more material, were it available — Ed
