Pilot - - PILOT NOTES -

The Vintage Aircraft Club’s Liz Inwood taildragger scholarship has received a £1,500 donation from the Light Aircraft Association’s Educational Trust. The scholarship was set up in memory of Liz Inwood, Tiger Moth pilot and instructor, by the VAC and the Inwood estate, to give young pilots the opportunity to take their PPL a little further and convert from nosewheel to older tailwheel types.

The VAC said, ‘We are extremely grateful to the LAA for its generous donation which will ensure the next generation of taildragger pilots is given a training opportunity enabling them to fly the type of aircraft they would typically see at VAC events.’
