CAA ap­proves TLAC as C42 air­craft & spares sup­plier, Euro­fox’s 120hp Ro­tax 912 up­grade for tugs and other news

The Light Air­craft Com­pany Ltd (TLAC) has gained full A8-1 ap­proval for the sup­ply of Comco Ikarus C42 air­craft and spare parts. TLAC was ap­pointed sole UK and Ire­land dis­trib­u­tor for the C42 se­ries in late De­cem­ber, and Manag­ing Direc­tor Paul Hendry-smith has con­firmed that af­ter ex­ten­sive dis­cus­sions with the CAA and mod­i­fi­ca­tions to its A8-1 ex­po­si­tion the Author­ity has granted an ap­proval that will al­low the C42 se­ries to be avail­able within the UK once again. He says that TLAC is cur­rently as­sess­ing the de­mand for spares to en­sure that all fast mov­ing items will be avail­able ex-stock from the com­pany’s Lit­tle Snor­ing base. g-tlac.com
