First Air­bus H145s de­liv­ered to Swiss Air-res­cue

Air­bus He­li­copters has de­liv­ered the first two of a to­tal of six H145 he­li­copters or­dered by Swiss AirRes­cue Rega. These will re­place its ex­ist­ing fleet of EC145S, which will be phased out by mid-2019. Over a fif­teen-year pe­riod the EC145S have pro­vided air­borne med­i­cal as­sis­tance to some 60,000 pa­tients. The first H145 is ex­pected to en­ter ser­vice at Bern in Oc­to­ber. The world­wide fleet of more than 200 H145s has logged more than 100,000 flight hours.

Air­bus has also de­liv­ered the fifth and fi­nal H135 that will be used by the

Bun­deswehr (Ger­man Armed Forces) in Bücke­burg for ini­tial and re­cur­rent pilot train­ing. These new H135s join four­teen oth­ers from the EC135/H135 fam­ily that have been in ser­vice since 2000, and have jointly ac­cu­mu­lated more than 100,000 flight hours
