Rupert flies again

Pilot - - NEW REGS -

Rupert Bear and his Nutwood chums are characters in the longest continuously-running comic strip/graphic novel in the world. First appearing in the Daily Express newspaper in 1920, its homely British values were recognised as such a morale-booster that extra paper was allotted for it throughout the war. The Cameron Rupert Special Shape hot-air balloon G-BTML was commissioned by Flying Pictures in 1991 and flew for six years with its trademark red jumper and yellow-checked trousers and scarf. Since then it has occasionally been inflated tethered at balloon fiestas but now can ascend anew.
