Tec­nam wins large Chi­nese fleet or­der

China’s Liaon­ing United-air Shenyan Co Ltd has or­dered a fleet of thirty Tec­nam air­craft for the An­hui Lan­tian In­ter­na­tional Flight Academy (ALIFA). An­nounc­ing the or­der, which com­prises a mix of P2010 Twenty-tens and P2006T twins, ALIFA Chair­man Xie Chun­qui, said: “Our com­pany has se­lected these mod­els to re­place our legacy fleet of train­ing aero­planes. [They] will not only en­able us to pro­vide our cadets with the very best train­ing fleet, but will also sup­port our am­bi­tion to es­tab­lish ALIFA as a world-class flight train­ing or­gan­i­sa­tion”.

Tec­nam’s Global Sales and Mar­ket­ing Di­rec­tor Wal­ter Da Costa added: “ALIFA has a well-earned rep­u­ta­tion for de­liv­er­ing flight train­ing to an ex­cep­tional stan­dard, and we are hon­oured to be key part­ner in the fu­ture de­vel­op­ment of China’s next-gen­er­a­tion of com­mer­cial air­line pi­lots.”
