Di­a­monds for Oman Avi­a­tion Acad­emy

At the end of Oc­to­ber, Oman Avi­a­tion Acad­emy signed a con­tract for eight Di­a­mond Air­craft −six sin­gle-engine DA40 NGS and two twin-engine Da42-vis −with an op­tion to add six­teen more. The deal was signed by His Ex­cel­lency Dr Ahmed bin Mo­hammed Al Fu­taisi, Min­is­ter of Trans­port Oman.

Capt Ab­dul­lah Mu­rad Al Bu­lushi, CEO, Oman Avi­a­tion Acad­emy said: “We are glad to… es­tab­lish this longterm part­ner­ship with Di­a­mond Air­craft. Oman Avi­a­tion Acad­emy… aims to pro­vide the high­est stan­dard of train­ing for [both the] civil and mil­i­tary mar­ket. Our vi­sion is to make OAA the fu­ture hub for avi­a­tion train­ing in the re­gion. This can only be achieved by pro­vid­ing the high­est qual­ity of train­ing and us­ing the best train­ing equip­ment. There­fore, we se­lected Di­a­mond’s DA40 NG and DA42-VI be­cause they are equipped with state-ofthe-art tech­nol­ogy and are recog­nised glob­ally as two of the best air­craft types for pi­lot train­ing.”

De­liv­er­ies of the first air­craft will start in the first quar­ter of 2020.
