Illustration students show off their designs

UNIVERSITY of Portsmouth illustration students will be showcasing their work tomorrow at the Edge of the Wedge at the Wedgewood Rooms in Albert Road, Southsea.

The showcase by the level four students, named 9250 after the rising price of tuition fees, will showcase book cover designs of Portsmouth landmarks and buildings in a bid to promote the city.

The showcase has been organised by the students themselves and will feature music from local bands Just Lucy at 7pm, Impossible Monsters at 8pm and HALLAN at 9pm.

Entry is free and doors open at 6pm. It ends at midnight.
