The former boss of one of America’s most violent gangs announced he would be visiting Portsmouth Guildhall to give a talk on how he escaped drink and drugs in New York. Nicky Cruz became a pastor following his conversion to Christianity and was hoping to spread the message to young men to keep off the mean streets.
