the Jump In! open day.

An eclectic mix of free taster classes, thought-provoking and entertaining shows for all ages plus a talk on big cats in honour of Havant’s legendary swamp cat, the days aims to reflect the broad nature of activities and shows at The Spring.

The day starts with the magical show I Believe in Unicorns. Based on the book by Michael Morpurgo, this enchanting interactive production for the young and young at heart celebrates the power of stories and the imagination.

There will also be a taster session in ballroom and latin dancing and a storytelling workshop among other activities to develop your own creative skills.

Elsewhere on the day, there are a diverse range of shows on offer – from thought-provoking theatre tackling serious issues in It’s True, It’s True, It’s True, to the retro music of the Spitfire Sisters and the comedy songs of Mitch Benn.

The finale for this eclectic celebration of the arts is the latest show from cult favourites Frisky and Mannish. Also celebrating 10 years since they burst onto the scene with their wildly popular brand of musical infotainment, Frisky and Mannish invite audiences into their PopLab to peek down the microscope at all their latest research projects. Sophie Fullerlove says: ‘We’re so pleased with the broad mix of entertainment and activities we have available for the Jump In! Open Day. It’s very difficult to sum up what we do when we offer so much, so this was a great way to showcase that variety.’ Some sessions are free. Check the website for price and availability
