Held over three magical days, Goodwood’s enchanting August Bank Holiday weekend rekindles the nostalgic summer holidays of yesteryear to create the ultimate family day out. There’s something for the whole family, starting with a spectacular firework display to music, fire performers, stilt walkers and a LED ribbon performance on the Friday night after racing.

Saturday and Sunday see the course come alive with a traditional fairground, alongside a petting zoo, Punch and Judy shows, face painters and much more! All activities are free for the family to enjoy.

For those ready to watch some thrilling racing action, Saturday hosts a top card of racing with three group races throughout the afternoon, including the Group 2 Ladbrokes Celebration Mile with returning top-class horses and jockeys in the line-up.

Tickets start from just £12 when bought in advance – with all under-18s free across the weekend.

Goodwood Racecourse is offering readers free ice cream for children for this weekend, when buying tickets in advance.
