Ease the pressure

The groundbreaking proposals for West Tipner (‘Innovative and exciting’ Tipner plans, Sept 19) are, indeed, just that, which is why the presentation was so well attended.

The planners clearly believe the improvement to the general street ambience by excluding parked vehicles is worth the extra cost of building below-ground car parks.
