Young riders raise £8,000

A GROUP of young stunt riders has raised thousands of pounds for good causes in the area.

The Tigers Children’s Motorcycle Display Team, a non-profit club of riders between five and 16-years-old, has presented cheques for a total of £8,000.

The money was raised from the team’s daring displays all over the country during the summer.

For 2019, the team has been supporting Portsmouth Down Syndrome Associatio­n, The Children’s Bubbles Fund at QA Hospital, Oliver’s Fight Against Neuroblast­oma, Simon Says Child Bereavemen­t Support and Wave 105 Cash for Kids.

Tigers chairman, Jason Gillen, said: ‘Handing over these funds means a huge amount to us all.’
