Young riders raise £8,000
A GROUP of young stunt riders has raised thousands of pounds for good causes in the area.
The Tigers Children’s Motorcycle Display Team, a non-profit club of riders between five and 16-years-old, has presented cheques for a total of £8,000.
The money was raised from the team’s daring displays all over the country during the summer.
For 2019, the team has been supporting Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association, The Children’s Bubbles Fund at QA Hospital, Oliver’s Fight Against Neuroblastoma, Simon Says Child Bereavement Support and Wave 105 Cash for Kids.
Tigers chairman, Jason Gillen, said: ‘Handing over these funds means a huge amount to us all.’
