Catch The Riddler if you can
Help Gotham Police track down the supervillain by solving the clues left at locations across Southsea
JUNIOR detectives are being invited to help track down a master criminal this halfterm holiday.
The Riddler has broken out of Arkham Asylum and is on the loose – and it’s up to the public to help Gotham Police recapture him.
Portsmouth Comic Con has set up the interactive game, which will transform Southsea into a world of superheroes and supervillains.
Riddles will be left at various locations around the city in the hope that someone can defeat Batman’s enemy so he can be sent back to Arkham before his plan comes to completion.
Parents and little ones are all welcome to take part, with the first three groups to solves the clues and head to the last location winning a big prize.
There will be lots of consolation prizes for those who miss out too.
The hunt is free for anyone to take part, and although it is aimed at families, is open to anyone of any age and should take no more than two hours to complete.
The hunt has been designed to be accessible to all abilities as a walking trail.
Anyone wanting to take part should RSVP to the Facebook event by searching for ‘Riddler Hunt’.
At midday on Tuesday, February 18, the first clue will be released on the @PComicCon Twitter account, leading to a location in the city.
At each place you will find a clue marked with a green question mark.
You will need to decrypt the clue and head to the next location, and so on.
This hunt is being run in the build-up to Portsmouth Comic Con 2020, International Festival of Comics, the largest event of its kind in the south, happening on May 2 and 3.
