Wonderful old building

In reply to Pat Huxtable and her letter on May 29, she is one of my favourite writers in our Community Views.

Another well-written piece, referring to the Royal Marines Museum, Eastney.

It is a marvellous place to visit, if not better than the D-Day museum. But it is definitely in the wrong part of Portsmouth, to attract visitors coming to our great city.

The old buildings are great, but the museum itself, with all the history on show, must be kept alive, which as Pat said, won’t happen at Eastney. It needs a new home that is accessible to visitors to our city.
