A ROUND-UP of some of the recent cases before Portsmouth magistrates.
■ Ricky Hutton, 23, of Redlands Lane, Fareham, admitted drink-driving in Portchester Road on March 24. A test showed he had 59 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35. Magistrates fined him £266 with an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs to pay. He was banned for a year.
■ Jolanta Sasnauskiene, 52, of St Mary’s Road, Fratton, admitted drink-driving in Baffins Road on May 25.
A test showed she had 56 microgrammes of alcohol in her breath. She was fined £200 with a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs to pay. Magistrates banned her for a year.
■ Dominik Surus, 35, of Sandringham Road, Petersfield, admitted drink-driving in Park Road, Petersfield, on April 19 and driving without insurance.
A test showed he had 54 microgrammes of alcohol in his breath. He was fined £80 with a £34 surcharge and banned for a year.
■ Hannah Walker, 25, of Ken Berry Court, Rowlands Castle, admitted drinkdriving in Lucknow Street, Landport, on May 28. A test showed she had 54 microgrammes of alcohol in her breath. Walker was fined £80 with a £34 victim surcharge and £40 costs. She was banned for a year.
■ Allahmohammad Mohammadi, 50, of Peckham Park Road, London, SE15, admitted drink-driving in Havant Road, Cosham, on July 4.
A test showed he had 87 microgrammes of alcohol in breath — more than double the limit. He was fined £250 with a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He was banned for 17 months.
■ Yasmin Hamilton, 24, of Shalbourne Road, Gosport, admitted drink-driving in Nobes Avenue on July 4.
A test showed she had 47 microgrammes of alcohol in her breath. She was fined £80 with a £34 victim surcharge and £40 costs to pay. She also admitted having no insurance.
■ Jon-Paul Ross, 36, of Nelson Road, Southsea, admitted drink-driving on June 2 in Renny Road, Fratton. A test showed he had 40 microgrammes of alcohol in his breath.
He was fined £220 with a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He was banned for a year.
■ Nigel Wheeler, 61, of Woodhay Walk, West Leigh, admitted drink-driving with 53 microgrammes in his breath on March 5 on the A27 at Fareham. He was fined £80 with a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
He was banned for 16 months.
He also admitted driving while disqualified and was fined £120.
