Wedding ring found

A member of my family was working in Portsmouth city centre just before Christmas last year and he found a gold wedding ring.

He put it in his tool box and forgot all about it – he was having a tidy up this week and came across it again.

It looks like quite a good one and it has an inscription inside.

I would imagine the person loosing it would be amazed to recover it. It would be simple for me to go and flog it for the gold but I would like to return it to the owner, if possible.
