Ben leads a goal-fest as Old Boys hit form

Ben Vassallo struck four goals as Wheelwrigh­ts Old Boys hammered Westleigh in Division 2 of the Portsmouth Sunday League.

Lee Bedden, Steve Duffin and Gary Brewer all scored twice with Ash Howes and Kev Chatfield completing the dozen, writes PAUL OASTLER.

Brodie Spencer netted a hat-trick as Seagull caned Friends Fighting Cancer 7-0. Darren Butcher (2), Lewi Brailey and Reece Tuppen also netted.

Paul Baker and Callum Harman both fired trebles as leaders Freehouse thrashed Portsbridg­e 8-1. Jack Davies and Bradley Willet also netted.

Jake Knight and Liam Kyle scored as Jameson Arms defeated Purbrook United 2-0 in the top flight.

Wicor Mill are also 100 per cent after two games following a 5-1 beating of North End Cosmos.

Three teams have a 100 per cent record in Division 3.
