Tricorn love

I really enjoyed Dennis Willis’s article about the Tricorn Centre in The News on October 5.

I loved the Tricorn – I loved the shops, the nightclub and the pubs, also the Himalaya Indian restaurant, where, as it happens, I had my first curry.

I also worked at the fruit and veg market as a lorry driver for two firms, Stubbington and Gillam and for

Dennis Hills, being his Covent Garden collection driver for two great years. Great times and happy memories for many reasons!

So as Mr Willis said, it’s now just a boring open space. Tricorn or boring car park – in my eyes, no contest!
