PETER RABBIT 2 (U)

Old Mr McGregor’s great-nephew Thomas (Domhnall Gleeson) and his neighbour Bea (Rose Byrne) are happily married.

They share a home with critters including Peter Rabbit (voiced by James Corden), sisters Flopsy (Margot Robbie), Mopsy (Elizabeth Debicki) and Cottontail (Daisy Ridley), and cousin Benjamin (Colin Moody). After his thrilling visit to the city in the first film, Peter tires of the predictability of life in the countryside and he decides to seek new adventures in the urban jungle.

Unfortunately, he falls into shady company and the rest of the clan rush to rescue the mischievous bunny.

SPIRAL: FROM THE BOOK OF SAW (18)

The reign of terror of diabolical serial killer Jigsaw began in the 2004 horror thriller Saw and spawned a hugely successful franchise, which has grossed almost one billion US dollars at cinemas worldwide. The ninth instalment welcomes Darren Lynn Bousman back to the director’s chair after his stints behind the camera of the second, third and fourth chapters. Spiral: From The Book Of Saw tones down the gore to focus on cocksure police detective Ezekiel Banks (Chris Rock) and his partner William Schenk (Max Minghella).

They take charge of an investigation with unsettling echoes to the past crimes of demented serial killer John Kramer, better known as Jigsaw. Guided by retired police officer Marcus Banks (Samuel L Jackson), Zeke becomes an unwitting pawn in a deadly and morbid game. THE UNHOLY (15) Pictured

Based on James Herbert’s best-selling book Shrine, The Unholy is a supernatural horror set in a small New England town, written for the screen and directed by Evan Spiliotopoulos. Young hearing-impaired girl Alice (Cricket Brown) stuns her congregation by suddenly gaining the power of speech.

She claims to have been visited by the Virgin Mary and professes that she can now heal the sick. Alice performs miracles and news of her gift spreads far and wide, piquing the interest of disgraced journalist Gerry Fenn (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). He needs a blockbuster story to revive his flagging career and feels sure that Alice is his meal ticket.

The Catholic Church dispatches Monsignor Delgarde (Diogo Morgado) to verify Alice’s bold claim.
