The medical drama is back for its fourth series. Although set in southern India, filming took place in Sri Lanka, a little later than originally planned due to lockdown. It begins as a deadly virus sweeps through the area – but not the one you might expect. Instead it’s the highly contagious Nipah causing all the trouble, and against her better judgement, Lydia is forced to admit a girl who has it. At least the patient gives new doctor Samir Hasan a chance to show what he’s made of. Amanda Redman and Harki Bhambra star.
