Kia Venga crowned best for family
A CAR has been crowned best family car by a Hampshire motoring journalist in his latest book.
The Kia Venga came out on top after Tim Saunders from Locks Heath conducted extensive research into what makes a good family car for his Family Cars book. The book considers over 40 saloons, hatchbacks, estates, SUVs (Sport Utility Vehicles) and 4x4s.
‘I have tested everything from a £200,000 Bentley to a
more affordable Honda Civic,’ said Tim, an advanced motorist, who has driven every car featured in the book.
He added: ‘The simplicity and good design of the Venga coupled with reliability and reasonable economy make the Kia Venga an extremely attractive proposition for a family of four or five because there’s a good amount of room all round.
‘It has certainly won me over and I have to smile because I have seen a growing number of these vehicles on theroad.
