Excitement builds for charity walk

-

SEVENTEEN organisations will take part in a charity walk later this month.

The Walk for Peace in Whitehill and Bordon will be held on Saturday, May 21, going 5km around the Hogmoor Inclosure.

Councillor Julie Butler, deputy leader of East Hampshire District Council, said: ‘We’re delighted to have so many charities taking part in this year’s charity Walk for Peace.

‘They will bring their own supporters along to the work and I hope we see lots of local residents turn up and join in too.

‘The more people we have the better the atmosphere and the more money we can raise for these wonderful causes.’
