Fostering event at Spinnaker Tower

Foster Portsmouth will be marking Foster Care Fortnight (May 9-22) with its spring drop-in foster carer recruitment event on Wednesday, May 18 at The Spinnaker Tower in Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth from 7.30-9.30pm.

The fortnight is an annual national campaign founded in 1997 by the UK’s leading fostering charity The Fostering Network to raise awareness of the transformational power of fostering, celebrate the fostering community, support fostering services – including Foster Portsmouth – and showcase the commitment, passion and dedication of foster carers.

It will provide an opportunity for people living in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas who wish to find out more about fostering to talk directly to existing foster carers and to hear first-hand about the rewards fostering can bring.
