WINNER: ANDRÉ’S FOOD BAR

THE winner of 2019’s Hospitality Leisure and Tourism award returned this year to receive the Retail & Leisure Business of the Year. As the longest-serving sandwich shop in the city, the award highlights the impact Andre’s Food Bar has had on the community over three decades.

It was described as adaptable, resilient and change-driven while focused on staff, customers and the community.

Andre’s Food Bar is a wellestablished and traditional business in the city, but with clear positioning and a modern outlook which is not afraid to take on the big players in the marketplace.

Co-owner Antony Aguado said: ‘It feels fantastic, we’re over the moon and so pleased.
