RECRUITMENT company Carrington West is no stranger to the Business Excellence Awards and took home two awards this year, for Training Programme and Large Business of the Year.
Founded in 2011, the business has grown rapidly and achieved Investor in People Platinum status, thanks to its commitment to putting its people first, training, developing and taking care of its employees.
During the pandemic the company heavily focused on learning and development and staff wellbeing, devising a clear set of new initiatives to ensure everyone was enjoying their work.
HR manager Emily Christmas said: ‘My role is to make sure that we’re doing everything that the people want and that they’re all happy and engaged
‘Our mission is to continue and develop, to be better every single day. It’s a really big thing for us to put our people first. Everyone says it but I genuinely believe it and I’m so honoured to work for them.’
The judges also chose to award a highly commended in the Training Programme of the Year category and this went to Gunwharf Quays.
