Charity up for top award
A CHARITY founded in Portsmouth has been shortlisted for a national award.
Endometriosis South East, which operates throughout Hampshire, has been nominated in the community organisation award for gender and community organisation award for disability at the National Diversity Awards.
The charity provides support and education to all who are affected by endometriosis and adenomyosis, and has both online and in-person support groups.
It aims to spread both awareness of these conditions and fund research into treatment for patients.
The Liverpool Anglican Cathedral will play host to this year’s awards, which will be held on September 16.
