E-scooter operator starts new safety drive
PORTSMOUTH e-scooter operator Voi has launched a new safety campaign to help educate people to ride safely.
The campaign, ‘Let’s get it right’ will be promoted via social media, in-app, on-scooter marketing and a dedicated landing page in their website encouraging riders to join safety events.
The campaign highlights the most important rules to follow when it comes to safe e-scooter riding.
It follows last year’s campaign, Ride safe, Park smart and it aims to continue to raise awareness around behaviour that can put riders, pedestrians and other road users in danger, including riding through red lights, intoxicated riding, pavement riding, twin riding and bad parking. From in-app messages to videos and stills, the campaign will encourage riders to ensure they are acting safely when using an e-scooter.
