Great victory
Your choice of headline for your report of the election to Havant Borough Council was curious.
You led on the Conservatives ‘gaining two new seats’. Factually that is debatable, given that the 'independent' displaced from one of those seats was elected as a Conservative. But surely the story of this election was not that at all, but the extraordinary and unprecedented storming to victory in St Faith’s ward of the Labour candidate. St Faith’s has been an ultra-safe Conservative seat since... well, forever. But Phil Munday not only won here for Labour , he won decisively, receiving more votes than the other three candidates put together, and now has the one of largest majorities of any councillor in the borough. If that isn't a political story worth reporting on, I don't know what is!
