Support for Dementia Action Week

HAMPSHIRE County Council is spreading awareness for Dementia Action Week which starts today.

Hampshire County Council is urging those living or caring for a loved one with the condition, to find out more about the support that is available through the Local Authority commissioned Hampshire Carer Support and Dementia Advice Service.

The services available include one-to-one support with a trained professional, wellbeing advice, assistance with health and social care support, and advice on state benefits and planning for the future. The service can be contacted on 01264 332297, Option 3, or by email at enquiries@andovermind.org.uk.Families and carers who are concerned about a loved one with dementia can get support from the Carers Emergency Planning Service.
