Boris beware

It's fascinating to read Geoffrey Booking's re-interpretation (or reimagining!) of history.

May I remind him that Theresa May's deal, undermined by convicted criminal Johnson, specifically precluded a border in the Irish Sea.

Johnson's deal, enthusiastically supported by the DUP, was only passed through parliament, backed by the hard right Tories, because it did include a sea border.

He and Frost signed this deal and now his cabinet of Brexiters, appallingly supported by the attorney general, Suella Braverman, now seek to break this international treaty and blame the EU for sticking to it.

Mr Brooking may not be concerned by the 'scaremongering' over the Good Friday Agreement, but Joe Biden is, and Johnson is well aware of this.

If he wants a trade deal with the US he will need to tread very carefully.
