Mackenzie is stunned by Hendrix’s proposal, but readily accepts. The young couple then leave Sydney, with Hendrix feeling closer to his family than ever before. Unfortunately, back in Erinsborough, things aren’t so bright and optimistic. Harlow has been kidnapped and drugged by Corey, who is keeping her locked up in a secluded cottage. Freya spots something suspicious in Christabel’s car before leading a search involving David and Levi.

The latter is so impressed by Freya’s attitude that he starts looking at her longingly again. Nicolette is also pining, but realises she has to move on from Kiri. Chloe, meanwhile, is angry with Paul for putting her in a difficult position at work. He’s not in Terese’s good books either – she thinks he’s hiding his assets ahead of their divorce. However, she’s soon distracted by the arrival of her estranged mother.
