Platinum Jubilee photo exhibition

A PLATINUM Jubilee art and photograph exhibition celebrating all things red, white and blue is set to be held at a Havant church this month.

The show will take place at St. Faith’s Church on West Street from May 26 to 29.

It will be officially opened by the Mayor of Havant at 12pm on May 26.

The exhibition will include photos of Havant over the last 70 years, including memories and pictures of Coronation Day and the Silver, Golden and Diamond Jubilee street parties.

There will also be photos of visits the Queen has made to the area over the decades.

The Platinum Jubilee exhibition will also include artwork created by pupils at Bosmere and Warblington schools, which has been created to mark this year’s special occasion.

Entry is free, and tea and cake will be available at the exhibition. Donations will go towards the new seating for the church.
