Brits crown Martin Lewis saving skills as top talent
Fiscal expert Martin Lewis’s money-saving expertise, Gordon Ramsay’s cooking capabilities and Mary Berry’s baking skills are some of the top talents we Brits wish they had. The data from Flora reveals natural talents Brits would most like to possess and what we believe we’re already naturally good at.
Amid current cost of living crisis, a quarter of Brits admit they wish they had money saving skills of financial journalist and broadcaster Martin Lewis, writes Christine Emelone.
This is particularly true among women (33 per cent) compared to men (18 per cent).
Respondents aged 35-plus also voted money-saving top skill they’d like to possess.

When it comes to Brits and their natural flair, over a third (35 per cent) claim they have a special talent.
Although Brits wish they had culinary skills like Gordon Ramsay and Mary Berry, over a third (36 per cent) believe cooking and baking is their natural talent.
Flora encourages the UK to celebrate vast talent that’s naturally theirs and natural ingredients we’re born with.
Natural talents Brits claim to have are arts and crafts (22 per cent), sport (20 per cent), singing (14 per cent) and gaming (14 per cent).
Head of Marketing John Mulvey said: “We know Brits throughout the nation are full of natural talent from baking to cooking to singing.
“As part of the campaign we’re currently hosting a competition.
“We are challenging people to film one of the tricks from the new Flora campaign”.
Or participants can make up their own kitchen-based trick shot to showcase their natural talents.
Winners will receive a new SMEG toaster.
