Watch with father films to enjoy together
Watching films with my dad – now in his 80s and me more than 20 years behind – is still a treat, writes Sue Wilkinson.
Early years’ choice has conditioned my taste in films ... as it does in music.
My dad introduced me to westerns, film noir and Gainsborough classics.
John Wayne, Humphrey Bogart and James Mason were my heroes. I introduced my dad to the Bourne and Mission Impossible franchises and anything with Dwayne Johnson in the lead role.
Not that I would recommend any of these for the very young but the choices here are all family friendly.
