Ghosted (Cert 15, 116 mins, streaming from April 21 exclusivel­y on Apple TV+) A hard-working farmer falls head over heels in love after just one date in an actionpack­ed caper directed by Dexter Fletcher.

Cole (Chris Evans) works on the land with his family and is instantly smitten with Sadie (Ana de Armas).

She travels extensivel­y for work and fails to respond to Cole’s smitten messages so he makes a grand romantic gesture and travels to London to surprise the object of his affections.

He is blissfully unaware Sadie is a top CIA asset travelling around the globe neutralisi­ng potential threats to world peace.

Cole blunders into her latest daredevil assignment and deduces that if he wants to enjoy a second date with Sadie, he will need to help her complete the mission.

Adrien Brody, Tim Blake Nelson, Anna Deavere Smith and Marwan Kenzari co-star.

La Brea – Season Two Part Two (Seven episodes, streaming from April 27 exclusivel­y on Paramount+)

The second series of the sci-fi drama created by David Appelbaum concludes after the reunion of Eve Harris (Natalie Zea) and her teenage son Josh (Jack Martin) with her estranged husband Gavin (Eoin Macken) and their daughter Izzy (Zyra Gorecki).

The terrifying threat of further sinkholes in the middle of Los Angeles, which act as portals to a primeval land, leads to further scrutiny of The Lazarus Project led by Gavin’s father James (Jonno Roberts).

Powerful forces on both sides of the sinkholes wreak havoc as survivors race against time to prevent further devastatio­n.

An estranged daughter competes for a family legacy in a multilingu­al French-Japanese drama adapted from a bestsellin­g Japanese manga series created and written by Tadashi Agi.

Camille (Fleur Geffrier) lives in Paris and has not seen her father Alexandre, creator of the world-renowned Leger Wine Guide, since her parents separated when she was nine years old.

She is summoned to Tokyo for the reading of her father’s will and learns that Alexander has bequeathed her his collection of wine.

To claim the inheritanc­e and assume control of the Leger empire, Camille must take part in three gruelling tests of wine knowledge and appreciati­on against her father’s spiritual son, oenologist Issei Tomine (Tomohisa Yamashita).

Camille does not drink wine and knows nothing about her father’s great passion so the odd are stacked against her.

A Tourist’s Guide To Love (Cert 12, 96 mins, streaming from April 21 exclusivel­y on Netflix)

High-flying travel company executive Amanda (Rachael Leigh Cook) is infuriated when her boyfriend of five years, John (Ben Feldman), announces his intention to move to Ohio, effectivel­y ending their relationsh­ip. At the behest of her boss (Missi Pyle), Amanda travels to Vietnam to clear her head and savour intoxicati­ng sights in the company of Vietnamese expat tour guide Sinh (Scott Ly).

He opens Amanda’s eyes to a world without guidebooks or rules, where happiness comes from venturing off the unbeaten track.

A holiday romance is kindled to Amanda’s surprise and delight then John arrives unannounce­d and she must choose between two very different suitors.
