Hot or not

-

MATT MACEY – 7

Barely anything to do all afternoon, although made sure he was in line with all Accy’s long-range shots.

JOE RAFFERTY – 6

Such an influential presence. Made little inroads in an attacking sense, but always reliable in defensive situations.

DI’SHON BERNARD – 7

Suddenly in favour and clearly a player with plenty of ability. Strong and dominant.

RYLEY TOWLER – 7

Restored to the side and looked as though he had a point to prove. Excellent range of passing.

CONNOR OGILVIE – 6

Attempted to push on more down the left flank and put in a couple of useful balls, particularly in the first half.

MARLON PACK – 6

Played the deepest of the midfielders, but too far back to dictate matters. A quiet afternoon, yet he wasn’t alone.

HARRY JEWITT-WHITE* – 7

Handed his full EFL debut and a huge plus point. Several clever passes and always willing to make a tackle.

TOM LOWERY – 6

One difficult shooting chance in the first half, but overall couldn’t get into the match to influence it.

PADDY LANE*** – 7

One of his best displays of a fragmented introduction to Pompey. Looked bright and confident.

COLBY BISHOP – 6

Frustratingly another game feeding off scraps and loose balls with that 25-goal target still agonisingly short. Not used enough.

MICHAEL JACOBS** – 7

Wonderful cross from the right put Joe Pigott’s goal on a plate to finally break the deadlock.

Substitutes *JOE PIGOTT (64MINS) – 7

Came off the bench to be the match winner. Lifted the Blues when he appeared, adding something different.

**OWEN DALE (86MINS) ***SEAN RAGGETT (90+3MINS)
