BOOK

Whether it’s society or the environment, Caroline Lucas clearly cares very much about her country, and the Green MP’S new book looks at that odd trait of her fellow citizens – Englishness. With the UK more divided than ever, she looks at English people’s progressive spirit, radical inclusivity and ancient commitment to nature to envisage where they might go from here.

‘Another England’ asks how the toxic legacy of Empire, the struggle for constitutional reform, and the accelerating climate emergency can be tackled to build a greener, fairer future.
