■ Pompey full-back Joe Rafferty’s two boys took turns firing shots at Marlon Pack’s son in front of the Milton End goal. It was a welcome moment of unity, with the right-back’s offspring having moments earlier been hurling themselves at each other in an attempt to win the ball. Like father, like sons. Rafferty and children are pictured below.

CROOKED PAIR JAILED

Two people have been jailed for laundering tens of thousands of pounds secured through prostituti­on and other criminal activity. the duo have been jailed for a combined total of four-and-a-half years.

So when Mark Steadman, pictured below, attended Buckingham Palace to be made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE), as an old punk and massive music fan, he couldn’t resist having a bit of fun.

A Gosport pub reopened following a sixfigure investment that has modernised the popular site. The Cocked Hat in Privett Road has been closed for the last month to undergo a major revamp.

■ Pompey will celebrate their League One title triumph from 1pm until 4pm on Southsea Common this Sunday.

And it will be a double cause for a party, with Pompey Women joining the festivitie­s after their National League Southern Premier Division title success. Live entertainm­ent will also take place, with a huge turnout of fans expected for the occasion.

70 YEARS OF BLISS

Bob, 90, and June Rawson, 91, marked an incredible 70 years of marriage on Wednesday, April 17 as they celebrated with family members at their Wickham home.

■ Worried residents have been left wondering how they’re going to rebuild their lives after destructiv­e flooding in Gosport.

Floodwater swept through Village Road and Coward Road in the early hours of April 9, leaving many people homeless. Firefighte­rs had to evacuate residents from 50 homes after water gushed into their properties.

LOIS’ LEAP OF FAITH

An inspiratio­nal woman has taken a leap of faith in a bid to raise charity cash and mark her 75th birthday. Lois Marshall decided to paraglide 1,000 feet over the South Downs.
