Where you’ll be sat waiting on the region’s roads over the next seven days
■ The region’s motorists will have several road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
■ And they are all expected to cause shortto-moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
■ A27, from 8pm February 12 to 5am August 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A27 westbound, Eastern road, Lane closure on exit slip road for Portsmouth City Council works.
■ M27, from 8pm February 13 to 5am
August 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M275 northbound, Tipner to M27, carriageway closure for Portsmouth City Council, diversion route via local authority network.
■ M27, from 8pm February 15 to 6am December 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M275 southbound, M27 to Tipner, Lane closure for Portsmouth City Council.
■ A27, from 8pm May 7 to 6am May 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 westbound, junction 12, slip road and lane closures for technology work.
■ A27, from 8pm May 7 to 6am May 8,
slight delays (under 10 minutes): A27 eastbound, Eastern Road, slip road and lane closures for barrier repairs.
■ A27, from 8pm May8to6ammay11, moderate delays (1030 minutes): A27 both directions Eastern Road to Langstone, carriageway and lane closures for structures work.
■ A27, from 8pm May
13 to 6am May 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A27 both directions M275 to Warblington, Lane closures for drainage work.
■ M27, from 8pm May 8 to 6am May 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M27 westbound, junction 11, slip road and lane closures for litter clearance.
■ M27, from 6am March 16 2024 to 6am March 20 2026, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M27 both directions, junction 4 to junction 8, Contraflow, narrow lanes and 50mph speed limit in place for major resurfacing work.
■ National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their
schedule.
