The government remains shut down and all of these American workers remain without a paycheck. But hundreds of senior Trump appointees, including Mike Pence are poised to receive a raise of $10,000 a year. Just a little salt in an open wound.

Just how silly are you old man? Why would Democrats come after you just because you voted for President Trump? If you haven’t broken any laws, you are safe, if you have, then you should be worried.

The only way that these government shut-downs would work is if everything shut down, completely, and everyone, including Congress had to go without pay.

The Cowardly Lion (Paul Ryan) is now gone from the House and I hope Speaker Pelosi gives the White House moron a run for his money. I also hope the Southern District of New York investigates everything connected to the moron and his family. Everyone of them is a crook and needs to be nailed for their corruption.

Yes, our dysfunctional politicians will do over $11 billion damage to the U.S. economy because Trump wants to spend $5 billion on a useless wall. He had every opportunity to work on this for the last two years. Yes we do need to replace the useless politician who claimed to have business negotiating skills, but yet lacks any common sense. His name is Trump and he took responsibility for this government shutdown, remember?

One of the biggest problems with Trump is the media. They never question his sources or his facts. They allow him to make his wild accusations without backing up his claims. Too many people believe whatever he says, simply because he is the president.

So, let me see if I have this correct … when Obama was president and the Republicans were the majority in the House and Senate, the Democrats called them “obstructionists” and “The party of no” and whined that they were preventing Obama from getting anything done, but now that the Democrats are the majority in the House and preventing border security, they proudly proclaim the Constitution’s “checks and balances”? Can anyone say hypocrites?

The GOP thought that they would embarrass Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez by showing a clip of her dancing when she was in college. Oh, how very human of her. Excuse the GOP — dancing and having fun is totally unacceptable.

Sen. Mitch McConnell is less popular than hemorrhoids, but for some reason we never see any articles about him being “unlikable,” and how that could limit his political future. But as soon as any woman decides to run for any office, look out.

Numbers posted today show the national debt ended 2018 more than $2 trillion larger than on the day Trump took office. The idea that Trump was willing to shut down the government to prove he had the upper hand, and could still “control” the politicians for a while, tells you how heartless he is. He doesn’t care about the American people, the veterans or the children that are being hurt by this shutdown. He is only worried about himself and saving face.

The GOP likes to claim that they are the party of “law and order,” but they don’t believe in rules, regulations or the law. They only believe in power, and will do whatever it takes to get it. Cheating and lying is not a problem.

Chicago Ald. Ed Burke was indicted for extortion. It’s about time. This is what happens when politicians gets so comfortable in their position. He is the perfect example for term limits.
